Default Anyone added Servos to Series 2/3 1100

I have another driver connector trying to smoke a 3 phase drive on the Y-Axis.

Have been considering retroing to the Servo Kit. Anyone actually done this surgery?

Are the servo upgrades available for the PCNC 1100 yet? I only see them for the 1100M+ on the Tormach web site.

They guys at Artisan Dice did a Clear Path servo upgrade a couple years ago on a 770. I would think it would be similar on the 1100. Here is a video they did on it.

Please report back what you find or hear. The Z stepper on my Series III upgraded 1100 is starting to make strange noises and a servo upgrade might make sense, depending on cost.

The servo upgrade is $1995.00 and available now.
Update: Actually, there is a note that they will not be available for the series 3. Sorry about that.

Too bad, thanks for the update, though.
