i have a handful of Xzero spare parts if anyone is short something?
I've rebuilt my predator and mini raptor and have a number of parts that i don't need from the original now.
These are all "new" but will be probably scratched up a little - especially the predator ones which were kicking around the shop and storage a while.
Mini raptor:
- 50x50 x "18" main extrusions.
- "18" wide lower cross beam extrusion
- 3pc ball screw bearing mount blocks fixes side
- 2pc ball nut mount block y/z
- 1pc ball nut mount block x (bottom)
- "24" 20mm X ball screw. cheap chinese one.
Predator:
- Y saddle - cut for modification to access grease fitting
- Z saddle - cut for modification to access grease fitting
- Z main bake plate - some drilled and machined modifications
- Z ball screw 2510 tbi
- Z ball screw support block fixed
- X ball screw support block fixed
- X ball screw support block free
- Z ball nut mount block
- nema 34 motor mount
- "48" x ball screw 2525
If you ended up missing something, or damaged something and need one, let me know.
Re: i have a handful of Xzero spare parts if anyone is short something?
Hi my name is Joe and I have owned a predator 40 x 48 for the past 6 years. I recently discovered that my gantry leadscrew (the one that is 25 dia x ~40" long) is bent. The machine has always had a problem with binding and the Covid-19 lockdown has given me the time to diagnose the issue and narrow it down to a bent screw.
Does anyone out there have a spare one? I sent a note to George as well, but not sure he is still in business.

Thanks for the quick response!!
I may be able to turn the end of the screw to work, but not sure. I have tried turning ballscrews before without too much luck , even with ceramic cutters. Also, it looks like the design of the bearing/screw assembly depends on the bearings being press-fit onto the screw ends. Any advice on the bearings? How much do you need to get for the screw?
Re: i have a handful of Xzero spare parts if anyone is short something?
You only need to turn the floating end, which is much more forgiving. main thing is keeping it concentric. it does not need a super tight press fit. slip fit will do. you don't want more than about .002" of paly.
Price, dunno $250 (this is the tbi 2525 screw), the main issue will be shipping as its too large for the standard services. I'm not sure I can even ship at all "now", and you cant cross the border. Ha!
