    Default lens hole elec overload

had a scare last night w Mophorn 100W laser. Laser wasn't cutting properly, checked lens, which had a hole in it. Second one since new this spring. Only a few hours of cutting punches a hole right through the lens.
I had ordered a third lens, so was able to replace (convex side up) and reset height. I was making some wood trophies and all of a sudden the laser went dead as if I'd blown a breaker. Upon further inspection, I'd melted the 110V input. Replaced that AND main power AND Laser power switches, Moved chiller, fan and air compressor from plugs built into the laser machine and to a separate outlet. Was able to cut again, but pretty weary.
Concerned about 1 - Laser lens and 2 - Elect overload (hoping to have fixed by moving accessories to separate power bar.
ANY help really appreciated. Attachment 425963lens hole elec overload-20190823_141220-jpg

Assuming (!) that the lens is rated for this, then the most common problem I am aware of is dirt getting on the lens.
Mind you, I am having a problem imagining just what the hole looks like in this case. 100 W is not that much power.
    Photos?

    Cheers
    Roger
